Were back in Michigan

It's hard to believe our last post was from Winslow Arizona in April. I'll be back tracking to show you some of the cool places and things we did between there and here.

We traveled 8,600 miles in the motor home (Moose) since October 2018 those miles do not include miles we drive in the jeep.

Were on a mission to visit all the National Parks.

Our Camping cost are averaging $20 a day, we have used Passport America, Coast to Coast, Good Sam Club, State Parks, National Parks & Forest and occasionally Walmarts.

Hunting Island State Park South Carolina camping with an ocean

November 26th through December 2nd, Hunting Island South Carolina. We left Shenandoah Crossings on the 25th and stayed in a Wallmart parking lot for the night, got an early start and drove down to Hunting Island South Carolina. Our site has a beautiful view of the beach with the morning sunrise out the front of the motor home. The area has some remnants of the hurricanes but is on the mend. Lots of beautiful beach walks and bike trail riding, climbed the lighthouse and sat on the shore one day.

The beach is beautiful and sandy for about 3 miles then it gets littered with hurricane debris.  From May to October no light is allowed on the beach while the sea turtles are busy laying eggs.
