Tiffen motor homes are made in Red Bay Alabama and we need some repairs, we have an appointment May 13th.  We are moving East heading in that direction.  Along the way it has mostly been raining.    

Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Canyon, Texas.  This place was recommended by another camper whom we were sharing information about places to visit.  It was a huge place and most of the area was very flat, then you arrive at this canyon.

Once your down in the canyon there are hiking trails, we were hiking the Juniper Cliffside Trail 2.9 miles. 
This was a large cave that we walked up to.

I had a great salad and Deck had breakfast.  If your a fan of Fixer Upper like I am then you have to visit everything Magnolia in Waco Texas.

There are the Silo's, an open play area, the store and bakery.  Since we were full from eating and the line into the bakery was over an hour, we skipped the bakery.

Just down the road from Ramblin Fever was a lake having boat races.  We spent the afternoon watching the qualifiers.

East Terrace (1872-1884) Every princess needs a castle and industrialist J.W. Mann built this one for his bride.  The original structure was built in 1872 and added onto in 1880 and 1884. This is one of Waco's premier historic homes and is furnished in fine Victorian antiques.

Earle-Napier Kinnard House, (1858-1869) Begun in 1858 by John Baylis Earle, this one-room house was one of the earliest brick houses in Waco.  In 1869, the Napier-Kinnard family added the two-story Greek Revival portion of the house.

They had a lot of different races with a variety of cars it was exciting.

Santa Rosa Lake State Park New Mexico

They had some hiking trails near the campground.

It was very rocky, the trail was a 3 mile loop around the campground.

Our jeep is parked in front of the motor home, we have a tornado heading straight for us, the rain turned to hail.  We were so lucky, the tornado warning was called off just before it reached us.

The hail was the size of grapes.  We were camped at Enchanted Trails RV Park just outside

of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

After leaving Arizona we first camped at Bluewater State Park, New Mexico.  The elevation was 7,400 feet.  We were going to camp 2 nights but after one night I became very sick and found out it was the elevation making me sick.  We pulled camp and headed to a lower elevation and luckily there was a Walmart to spend the night.  We spent 7 days crossing New Mexico.

It's hard to believe our last post was from Winslow Arizona in April. I'll be back tracking to show you some of the cool places and things we did between there and here.

We traveled 8,600 miles in the motor home (Moose) since October 2018 those miles do not include miles we drive in the jeep.

Were on a mission to visit all the National Parks.
